Got a great Dylan scrapbook with all reproductions of old concert tickets, and lyrics, and a DVD as well. Bestest gift.

BTW, I wanted the Luther Vandross latest greatest hits. God rest his soul. Did i see it under a tree? NO!!!!!!!!! I'll get it myself. Not to mention I missed all the festivities as I am down for the count with a flu, bug, cold, yucky something.

I got Sandy this Blazer type jacket she has been wanting(and she has been on that shopping channel all month) & my son a few CD,s and a gift certificate to a fancy resturant so he can impress his lastest G/F.
My brothers and sisters and I dont exchange gifts as we are too old for that sh**- besides with all thier kids to shop for it would be really silly.
We all got together and had a professional photographer take a pic of all the grandkids- - best gift Mom couldve got.

I got an aqyarium with 2 little fishies which I have yet to name. One is, I guess, a big goldfish and the other is black and has bug-eyes,like a frog. Any suggestions??

I got a pair of pink and white roller shoes, you know the ones the little kids wear, and a matching pink iPod. I will now be by far the coolest 40 something year old on the block.
Way to go, Cynical One!! That's some cool gift. I'd break my neck, though. Be careful out there! LOL.
As for the fish, I think Michael is a great name (British people will get that one - after the weatherman...). Ricky Gervais has a fish called Michael. And a cactus called Robert, after Robert Plant.
And as for presents, this has to be the worst year since records began. I got two scarves, one pair of gloves and a cheap watch. I got f*** all from my boyfriend. I bought myself a cd, so he would have something to hand me when I handed him his presents. Sounds bad, doesn't it... c'est la vie. I don't care. Got my keys, and that little life inside me.

It's also the future shopper for your significant other because my husband always gives the job of shopping for me to my daughters. They're the ones out shopping with me and catch me giving a second glance to things I like. I can't wait to hear what you say when that precious little one is placed in your arms for the first time!

Well, I must have thought I was Mrs. Claus this year. There was NO END to the wrapping this year!!!! No wonder I was having trouble stashing things!!!! My daughters and I are bargain shoppers so I get a LOT for my money. I'm going to make a conscious effort to cut back. It's the spirit of Christmas that's most important.
As for me, my daughter and her husband bought my husband and I a dvd/vhs machine so I can play all my old vhs family video recordings on the vhs and record them onto dvds. My pictures and movies are so valuable to me! My other daughter bought me a brass ornament engraved with "Forever in my heart" which opens so I can put pictures of both my parents inside (both deceased now). My husband got me some small diamond hoop earrings, Heavenly cologne and lotion, and a promise to buy me the CD of my choice because I wanted a collection of love songs from the 60's or 70's. I didn't need my usual gift of Cashmere Mist perfume because with not working I don't use it as often and didn't run out yet. Not bad, huh? Sorry, it's hard to pick a favorite from them!

I know he's not as bad as he had been...I don't think he's doing heroin this time...but scared it will lead back to it. One day at a time! Please keep the prayers coming. You can be assured of mine.

Hi Ms Tres, So nice to hear your good news. I think she timed it better than me! I've been out all all day trying to buy something nice to wear to a NYE party tomorrow. You remember the dancing elephants in Fantasia? I've just started to get really big, and have got to the stage where I couldn't care less about my appearance. I just want this baby OUT! I can't wait to hold her, but she sure is making my life hard at the moment. Swollen legs. Gigantic breasts, only eclipsed by my huge belly. Can't remember what my feet look like. I've gone pudgy all over. I used to be so tiny, and I am regretting ever complaining about my boney body. But I still get a smile when I lie in bed and she starts wriggling around and I can feel her moving under my hand. Since my boyfriend realised that I'm serious about moving out, he's actually made a huge effort, and has shown more interest in our baby in the past week than he has in the preceding 7 months. He felt her moving on boxing day morning, for the first time, and it seems to have sparked some sort of paternal instinct in him, as he's taken to sneaking into my bed (we sleep separately) during the night and putting his hand on my belly to see if he can feel her moving. And she's been surprisingly obliging. I just wish... oh it doesn't matter what I wish. What will be will be...
