I`m not new to heroin,being a user on & off since the early 90`s,but am new to computers,so please 4~give any mistakes!!!Ifirst started using as my mates (so called) were,progressed to methadone,by the way i`m from the north west of the uk!Iwas on that for years,b4 i got remanded & then it all stopped,the police were giving me,my methadone,which went with me to jail,they then poured the meth down the sink,me protesting i`m a registered addict,his response was,not now your not!!!The prison doc,gave me,3,5ml,valium,a day&1,10 ml temazepham,4,3 days,& that was my lot!!!Coming from a 100ml a day meth habit to that was hell,i was literally climbing the walls,as you can emagine.3weeks into remand,i got released,i thought i was over the worst of it,so on return home i carried on not taking anything at all.Slowly through boredom i started using heroin again,another jail term i went through it cold turkey,came out, within months i started using heroin again.Again another jail term,again did it cold turkey,then in 97 got another jail term,got clean,got a job,moved to a different town,& felt great,being part of the human race again,year 2000, got the job of my dreams,bought a house,spent 7-8 mts renovating it,still clean from any type of drug,moved in start of dec 2001,last day of work i was involved in a serious rta,which resulted in me losing 75% use of my right hand!!!gutted was`nt in it,i`d worked so hard to get where i was,then bang gone!!!Driver of the arctic died sadly,he incedently was a prison officer!Got sent home from hospital with df118`s,& thought i`ll get a buzz off them,sarted taking them,more&more.Got imune to them,so in2004 i stupidly thought i`ll get a bag of heroin,big mistake!!!Got paid out for my accident,so can afford to keep a habit going,but i want off this s***!!!I`ve got plenty of subutex,but i dont want to switch 1 drug for another,got 100`s of 30ml df`s,but same thing!!!Thats my story,But most of the meds,4 pain relief,& meds 4 heroin are from addicts accross in the usa,i`ve tried getting hold of them that are suggested.In the uk,but can`t.Is there any uk, based addicts that could give me things to get to ease the w/d`s?I`ve got a few of what the usa addicts suggest,But very few,i know wot to expect,with the wd`s,but some uk ones would help,also i dont want to go to my gp,as it goes on your records,same with the cdt!!!Any help would be gratefully received!!!I plan to start my home deox,tomorrow,05/03/07!!!Please please help,
If you have sub you could do a 14 day sub detox, but you really should have a DR to oversee it.

I know ur story like it woz my own - the amount of times i have been inside and had to cluck on just val's or britlofex - they dont giv a damn if u r on meth when u get put in prison - u get wot they want to giv u an thats that. Like the bit about the driver of the lorry being a screw - shouldnt laugh really(!!).
Subutex is the best option 4 u - i know u r just replacing one thing with another but subutex r legal, and free (if u r on benefits) and r managable.
14 day or 21 day subbies detox iz wot a lot of prisons giv u now an it does work - get urself a drugs worker and start the subbies, rapid detox iz the best option 4 u coz u sound like u wanna b free of all opiates...

Hi silent partner,thanks for getting back to me,your right i do know how to get clean,i just need to get clean again then i can sort my life out!!!iI`m fine when i`m not on anything,i dont even think about drugs,i just want my job back,then i`ll be ok!There was a program on uk tv,called going cold turkey,which 3 people,went into a clinic & did,a 5 day detox,under medication.One of the previous clients did an interview,for the clinic,they`d put him on naltrexone,but he said he likes to keep fit,weights,running etc,but the naltreone,did`nt give him the buzz,you get from training,so they put him back on subutex,i like weights running etc also,so i`m not sure if naltrexone would suit me?Iknow lots about it from the program i saw,plus what i`ve seen on this site,& leaflets,i`ve picked up from the cdt.Also you mention my doctor,wot a joke he is!!!When you go to see him,he`ll say things like are you still alive,not even knowing i`m on heroin,he`s like that with every1,the consultation is 1 big joke to him also,he does`nt take any1 seriously,&its annoying,thanks for replying!!!

Have you ever thought of working a program to stay clean. Silent Partner is right, you have successfully detoxed many times, just never managed to stay clean. That's what a program is for, then you wouldn't need to keep detoxing for the rest of your life.
