I AM A LITTLE SCARED TOMORROW I START MY SUBOXONE. I HAVE BEEN ON BUPERNEX FOR 7 YEARS AND MY NEW INSURANCE WONT PAY FOR IT ANYMORE. SO I HAVE TO GO ON THIS MEDICINE. I JUST HOPE THAT I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM PUTTING IT UNDER THE TONGUE AND THAT I CAN STAND THE TASTE ITS JUST NOT THE SAME AS GIVING MYSELF A SHOT THAT WORKS IN ONE MINUTE. WHERE THE PILL TAKES 10 MINUTES TO DISSLOVE UNDER THE TONGUE. I AM JUST SCARED AFTER BEING ON THE SAME DRUG FOR SO MANY YEARS I THINK I JUST NEED SOME HAND HOLDING HERE. I AM SURE EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. ITS COSTING ME 50.00 FOR THE SUBOXONE AND THE SHOTS WERE ONLY COSTING ME 35.00 FOR 200 BOXES. I CANT BELIEVE THAT UNITED HEALTH CARE WOULDNT PAY FOR THE DRUG BECAUSE IT WAS A SHOT. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND AND MY DOCTOR WROTE A LETTER TO THEM TELLING THEM THAT I NEEDED THIS DRUG, THEY TOLD ME NO. IF I DIDNT DO MY OWN RESEARCH I NEVER WOULD HAVE FOUND SUBOXONE AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN F---ED BASCIALLY.
WELL I JUST AM HOPING FOR THE BEST AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE PILL. PLS GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK I JUST NEED SOME HAND HOLDING PLS. HELP ME

Hi Lesli I do not know much about Sub. but I know there are some on here that have used it and have had good result with it.. There does not seem to be many on here at night but I am sure that there will be someone on soon that can help you with any question you may have.. There are some great people on here so hang on and someone will be here soon.. In the meantime I just wanted you to know that you are not alone

What is bupernex? I have heard of it but can't remember what it is. And if you don't mind, why were you taking it? I will say a prayer for you. And yes, insurance companies suck a lot of the time.

Leslie..why are you on the Bup? Is it for addiction or pain control? And anyone else out there..isn't bup the same as Suboxone only without the naltrexone?
