Can you believe it? I'm still in AA, I have a good relationship with my sponsor and I'm doing service work! And it is helping me work on myself. Because even though I'm off the dope, the junkie is still very much in my head! Sometimes, I think I've actually gone insane from all the vodka, lsd and heroin I've put in me! I know my mind isn't working properly. AA is helping me to understand some of that stuff and actually get rid of it! I never thought it would work for me but it's damn sure working! I'm thinking more clearly and I'm almost happy. lol. Sometimes I'm sure I am. Then it goes away. I'm sure if I keep working those steps in my life, I'll be happy more often than not. I don't mean to sound like a big book thumper but I'm excited to finally be working on stuff that's kept me down for years. (even before I was using) I still miss Ted though. I'm going to visit this month.
