I just wanted anyone wanting to quit smoking...
there is a new drug called Chantix, it blocks the brain receptors from craving the nicotine.
I have been smoking for 25 years and have tried to quit over 7 times.
I am in my 3rd week of a 4 week treatment and have not had one puff.
I feel good, and without the craving, there is no replacing with food or candy, so I have not noticed a weight gain.
I do think about cigs often, but we can brush off a thought a lot easier than a craving!
Oh yeah, my insurance covered it, so a 4 week would cost $110. w/o ins. and I paid $35.00 since my ins. covered it. Can't hurt to call and ask your insurance if it is covered.

HI YA I`M JEANNIE I LIVE IN THE UK, HERE IT IS CALLED CHAMPIX, HERE IN THE UK WE HAVE THE N.H.S (NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE) WE DON`T PAY FOR HOSPITAL TREATMENT IT IS FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT TAXES ETC PAY FOR IT. NOBODY HERE PAYS ONLY THING WE HAVE IS PERSCRIPTION CHARGES 6.75 PER ITEM THATS ABT $13 I AM A SMOKER BUT DESPERATE TO STOP I`M 39YRS OLD BEEN SMOKING SINCE I WAS 12 I HAVE 3 CHILDREN AND SMOKED ALL THE WAY THRO ALL MY PREGNANCIES I KNOW THATS TERRIBLE I ALSO HAVE 2 GRANDSONS AND MY DAUGHTER SMOKED THRO HER`S TOO I AM GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS TO HER AS SH`S ONLY 20 AND NEEDS TO STOP FOR THE SAKE OF HER CHILDREN
