I read somewhere recently, maybe here .... yep here, that subs arent covered by insurance?
Is this true or just outdated? I am in US
You might want to post this question in "Pain Pills," as there are people who have knowledge of subs in that forum.
my insurance only charges $20 co-pay
Sorry to be so dense, but what is a sub?
Subutex offers those dependent on narcotic pain killers, medicine and opiates a wide range of options, including abstinence from all forms of opiates. Subutex Treatment is provided in an Out Patient professional setting. And Subutex provides a safe, effective, and pain-free detox. Subutex and Suboxone are part a complete treatment plan that can include Behavioral Therapy, Support Groups, and Individual Counseling. For more information about Subutex or Suboxone, consult with any of the SAHHSA approved physicians in the Suboxone-Directory
I hope this helps a little. It pretty much it stops withdrawl symtoms but can cause them if used long term and not tapered properly....or under a doctor's supervision.
