Nothing big or exciting really ......but just happy kicking back in the sun watching my girl and her crazy mates on the water slide and mini pump up pool in the garden.....laughing and giggling with not a care in the world.I got them snacks from the shop so all 7of them are happy campers......its just things/days like this that i treasure my clean time.....the simple things in life are often the best.....a smile a joke even a lil girls tiff make me happy inside.Im treating myself to a few beers as well ....nice and chilled ...lovely.....dont me to sound smug but its only recently that ive gotten it into my thick skull that you cant change the past just make the future better.Thats my dreamy vibe done now .....so i hope we are having a good Saturday my fav.day of the week.....all the best you good people..............Davey

B sitting for my sis all weekend, but not picking the two T's up until tonight so this morning i had no work, no cleaning, no stress no nothing....bliss. Going to get dressed now and go for a bite to eat. Will come on later.

Just got a call from a old friend of mine (another clean one) . Today is the Puerto Rico Day Parade in Manhattan. Now even though I dont live in the City anymore but I still go all the time for different reasons not drug reasons, I did that parade last year Man ,talk about walking & eating at the same time Byrn.. these NYers got it down pat. All that Latino music * The sights, sounds and smells are great !- - Colorful, loud, and spicy * * *

Im going to pass on the party this year- way to hot out there & I have some memories of a few parade days that best remain not brought up anyway.

The Sanitation companies to "clean it up"

A beautiful, sunny day here in the west too. Your day sounds wonderful, Davey. Everyone's does. I miss the little ones, but I really enjoy my sons and thier friends as well. Had the band here all day yesterday for rehearsal. First I made them breakfast so they'd help with yard work. Then made them some supper. They're all fun and funny...very talented and cute. I had a wonderful time with them all. There are many chores I should be doing, but I know I'll just keep it to a minimum. Thanks for this thread. It put a huge smile on my face. Take care, mate.

Hello Becks......glad you liked the post ...its nearly 8pm here so things are winding down a bit.....but i got a sleepover with two of Sians best mates really funny nice girls ....shes blessed to have such good friends.....so its juice,popcorn and dvds for a few hrs. then a late night i leave them up to their own devices.....im not cool enuff....welll most of the time anyhow.

Well ain't you all just sunshine and lollipops...........LOL.......actually first thing this morning at 6:00AM as I got the wash together I thought "How did I go running around in this heat to cop?".............nightmares........and I thought how terrific it is to be clean and go along at a pace like a normal human being.
HAHAHAHA, Davey fell on the slippery slide.........I'd pay to see that........oh those are the days of the kiddie pool and hoses..........I miss that too Beck's.

Leave it to our GYAC to be upbeat in this heat.........D, should we give everyone a lesson in fire hydrant ettiquette............yeah, we have kiddie pools, but we have fire plugs...................fire plugs rule............the person with the wrentch is King................the wrentch is gold..............you turn the plug on and the whole neighborhood gets under it.............and someone ultimately stands behind it and cups their hands...............and sprays and the boys try and grab ya under the water..............then someone gets punched in the face............and kids sit in the puddles in the curb.............and when cars go by they real quick roll up their windows...........then ya get some mean older person who don't roll up the windows and expects to be let pass................alas some smart a*s sprays them and it's ON............then th cops come because of the fight and it's illegal to turn on the plug................so they look for the wrentch.........and they never, ever find it...........so they use their own.............and get really mad if their uniform gets wet.

Hola Bryn firstly that image of all the local kids having fun with the fire hydrant is a classic visual slice of your American ways ....love it......always wondered how they did it ....so the guys with the tools are the coolest ...that is until the cops turn up and they are ghost ...zapp gone geronimo.Glad ya gotta smile outta my slip sliding on my arse .....it was a real classic of fathers caught out by kids ......and they would pry me outside under some dodgy line ......then spray me with the garden hose much to their girlie amusement.I think Sian has had her first real crush our next door neighbours have relations over from Austrailia and they are all handsome and tanned and rather polite as well......so my lil girl has fallen in love with one of them an 11yr.old named Tyler......she will be so heartbroken when they go in 3weeks ...maybe a long distance relationship may be rekindled via e,mail who knows but hes quite a catch.......sorry for going on but im so proud of her but shes growing up quickly in front of my eyes.....the local boyz are jealous of the Aussie lads too which i get a laugh at.

That was the "gig" in NY when I was a young Jack. I never had the wrench( at least when the cops came I didn't) but like a good Italian I had "connections"
The best )or worst- was when you promised a car to > go ahead** you,ll spare him from blasting water thru his window.
Then of course - someone would blast him anyway & soak him & his front seats.
