Harry is continuing to recuperate well. Thank God! He's working full-time again...trying to catch up on things from no pay for over 3 weeks. I don't see nearly as much of him these days since his girlfriend got an apartment. I kind of expected that.
My grandchildren are doing GREAT! My older daughter came over with her 2 yesterday and they played on our little playground in the back yard. It's funny...my husband said we weren't going to have one of those when the kids came and now he's fine with it. Fortunately we had installed a cement basketball court years ago when our son played in grade school, so we have that filled....large sandbox, swings, sliding board, small basketball hoop, blow-up play gym, and a swing for the growups IF we get a chance to sit down! I can't believe my grandson will be a year old soon! He is so dear. A woman came across the store to tell my daughter that he's the cutest baby she's ever seen. Of course we think he is but it's nice to hear other people feel that way too!
I just wanted to tell you that I was very proud of you when you posted about being stressed about the situation with your daughter and her dad but you said you didn't feel like going out and scoring. That's WONDERFUL!!!! It's such a relief for those of us who love you dearly to hear!

I am getting to enjoy my blessings again while my son is safe. When he was in the depths of his drug addiction I couldn't enjoy anything or anyone. Even my grandbabies couldn't make me smile but they did comfort me somewhat just holding them. Sad to say...I didn't even have the desire or energy to hold them but I did it anyway because they reached for me and I didn't want to hurt their feelings. Of course, I still loved them, I was just VERY co-dependent....VERY overwhelmed by the danger, the financial disaster, and the legal trouble....and VERY miserable and that was even with the help of a mild anti-depressant. I NEVER want to go back there!

Susan, That's great to hear.......he did really good......I'm so pleased you can have some peace of mind......then again with all the little ones peace is not the word, right? Naw, the babies they just make it all bearable on this earth.

yea !!! grandbabies........I am soooooo looking forward..........perhaps our little boy, soon to arrive wil bring some stability to this insane household......hmm then perhaps not, either way, I will love him right up and he will bring countless hours of joy to me;-)
