Ok, so I'm tapering, and sticking to it. Feel the wd's a little. But my flu is terrible..I'm having a hard time know which symptom is which!!! Anyways, I know about baths and stuff, and Motrin, any other suggestions? BTW, I only took 3 Vic's yesterday, which is lower than my allowed four..
Hey Danny-
I was shopping yesterday (paying for it today - my back is killing me) CROWDED!!! - Anyway, I went to the Vitaman Shoppe and they had a BIG sale. I finally got the sublingual B-Complex Vitamin. Its liquid, so its absorbed better. The way the lady at the place explained it to me - the directions are to put one dropperful under your tongue and keep it there for thirty seconds. It absorbs alot faster, somehow - just like people who go to the hospital for chest pains have a nitro pill placed under the tongue right away, because under the tongue it absorbs quickly. This was one of the things someone (I think John Dee) mentioned that helped him (energy wise) - I've also heard B-Complex is good for the nervous system, anxiety, etc. So I figured, it cant hurt plus it was buy one, get one free!!! I LOVE A BARGAIN.
Hope youre feeling better soon. This flu seems to be kicking your butt!!!!
Love,
Marie

Now this might sound crazy, but ALL of my withdrawl symptoms are flu symptoms. I even went to the doctor three times (when I tried to quit) because I thought I was REALLY sick. And now I realize that I never was sick, it was all withdrawls. But when I would go to the doc because I thought I was sick, I would always end up with more pills. So I think my body would tell me that I was sick , just to get me into the doctor for more pills???
And now I am on day 6, and still having a lot of w/d - chills, always being soooo cold, body aches, irritability, dhiarrea (for the 5th day straight), and night seems to be the worst part of the day. I am not sleeping well, and I keep having "pill dreams"???
I feel like I will never enjoy anything again without the pills, but everyone says all in good time. I pray that they are right.

Britney-
You have probably gone through the worst part of it if you are on Day 6. I'm sorry that the weather has to keep you indoors - I'm in Florlida and its beautiful outside today - everyplace is just getting crowded though, because all the snowbirds are coming down.
Anyway - eat bananas, take Immodium, take hot baths with epsom salts, drink hot tea (I like green tea (decaf) take vitamins - try to get a "little" exercise - even if you are stuck inside. I know it sounds impossible - but it really does help when you go to sleep at night. Just do some stretching, etc. Do you have any of those DVDs or videos of exercising you can do right at home - even if you walk in place - its something. They say that exercising helps release the endorphins in the brain (the ones that were eaten up with taking all the pills).
Anyway, hon - just keep posting. We are here for you. Try to eat healthy (even though I know food sounds horrible now) - maybe even some broth. But the bananas are great for the leg cramps. Let me know how youre doing later.
Love,
Marie

Brit- I'd normally agree, but my two little ones have also have the flu and I'm running a 101 fever, so I have both..GAWD!
Danny, just pray for honesty when taking the meds...
I went to Big Beach yesterday and it was absolutely spectacular...
It was the flattest I have ever seen it..
Hang in there, and after a few more days at 3, I would just chuck it...
easier said than done with pain....

LB- I've been totally honest. I don't control 'em. My wife gives them to me. Way to go on Big Beach! Wish I were there. I think I told you in snowed here the other day..most has melted.. It's only 40 degrees here today and already that feels warm..you know how it goes..the colder it gets, then it "warms" up a little, and it feels like heaven..
