Its sometimes wierd how some of has so many similarities.
My psych also put me on seroquel, besides depakote (for bipolar disorder). I'm also taking the Cymbalta. The seroquel was prescribed also to help me get off my 20 yr addiction to xanax (due to severe panic disorder). Damn, I do sound like a mental case, dont I :o)
I was told they are non addictive, but was also told at one time that tramadol was non addictive and when I had told everyone here I was taking tramadol or Ultracet - wow, got tons of advice and info on that.
I'm always open for positive advice. No matter if someones been clean for 1 day or 10 years, we are all just a pill away from picking up - what I'm really trying to say is that even the "oldtimers" try to learn something new each day and it helps clean people to help others.

i am not sure about the dependancy part of serequal, but i do know i have had really good luck with the cymbalta/serequal combo. i take 200 mg at night. they started me out at 25 and moved me up every 25 a minth until i hit 200. i think this is gonna be my dose. i did get my cymbalta upped last month and after a couple weeks of uneasiness i did level out. now i feel grounded again. i never noticed any weight gain at all. i stayed the same or fluxuate within 5 lbs but thats normal for everyone. i have been on these meds for a year now. i can start to notice like last month when it was time to tweak something and i work closely with my dr on that. its really important for me to have a quality of life. and you know what. i dont know if its just me or some wierd psychological thing, but i hardly/rarely crave drugs/or a high. i am just a peace and content the majority of my day. oh and the reason i take them is for bi-polar. i was diagnosed a.d.d. too but i dont take anything for that. i dont need too. i feel like i found my magic potion : )

i normally have low blood pressure so i dont think it really ever phased anyone. they always tell me good job hahaha huh now i should question that. well i geuss its not abnormally low that they are not concerned. so i might not question it so they dont think i am a hypochondriac hehe i always fear that cause my mother was one.

i dont remember exactly from time to time, but that sounds close to about right. they never act like its any cause for concern. athletes have abnormaly low bp's as well. so i trust if they arent worried then i wont worry. it doesnt make me feel ill in anyway at all.

I am walking around like I am on a cloud. Sleeping like a baby. Maybe I just do not know what its like to be semi normal. The doctor said 110/50 is what a high school athlete would have.

i dont know what the max cymbalta dose is but i am on 60 as well and i take mine in the am. just always have and it has never been a prob for me. jeff, do you take 2 30's or do you have a 1 60. i have 2 30's i was just wondering if they make them in 60's

Yea i take 60 1 pill
The 50 is pretty low...I would be cautious when you get up in the morning and standing up fast. When Mine is lower, I feel much better...Around the 100/65 mark I have more energy.

for real you take 1 60? maybe my dr prescribed mine the way he did to take one in am and one later, but i take them both in am cause i was forgetting my afternoon dose. thats good to know next time i see him i will ask about that. thanks for the heads up.

Jeff, so youre as HS athelete, huh? LOL - really, your BP is great. I have to watch mine - since its hereditary. My mom had extremely HBP. But she didnt take good care of herself (did not follow dr. orders). She continued to smoke and drink alot of coffee. Also, never took meds properly. Unfortunately, my Mom passed away almost 20 years ago at the age of 60. It was so sad that she COULD have helped herself by doing the right thing and lived a much longer, healthier life.
I'm glad I dont smoke cigs. Do you Jeff ro Terri?

I want you all (above)I work at a home for manic dpression people other mentel problems,and people are sooooooooo unadeucated when it comes to mentel abuse,,for biplar people ,I feel for you all..my spouse of 15 years had it,,he would get angry,mad,cry,anxity so bad he could not get out of bed ,,on and on ..now thats bad ,,we need to understand this ,that the care the mentel pts ( is not there for these people..very sad ..I FEEL FOR YOU ALL ..AND IM SO MAD BECAUSE THERES NOT ALOT OF TOOLS OUT THERE FOR YOU ALL,,,self medacation is very popular with biplar people.all the meds are very expensive ..seaquel 500 depacote 279.on and on ,,now this people have a hard time just excisting ,,but to pay for there sanity ..out rages...im so mad at the world ,,that they could give a hoot about these poor people..and IM giong to write to my senter.....where I work ,,they say put them on ssd..and it does not pay for there meds ,,,so they do crazy things ..no meds to expensive,,,,I LOVE YOU ALL ,I feel very sad for all that cant get the much needed help .maria sub wiver,boo,all of you,,,,I WILL PRAY FOR YOU GUYS UNTIL THE DONT SHINE NO MORE......please hang in there ,,you guys coudnt help it ,,you were born with this imbalace ,,,and it is sad ..my heart crys for each and everyone of you,,,,stay clean and happy ..love poopie
