Son out of prison, seemed ok 3 weeks, then 3 days ago major od, we got hm breathing and also be, he gets subs, now he claims he is injecting subs...so I called to have him removed from house, cant do it without a notice to quit. Are you kidding me. So down tomorrow to get the notice, will serve him and tonite doors are being removed in his area. Over a decade of his crap, no sympathy left
Good luck. Call his probabtion officer maybe they will remove him.
I was going to say that too, call parole or probation. The first term of parole is he cannot use drugs or alcohol and parole SHOULD come in inspect his living situation. (I worked in the courts for 31 years). He should have to meet with his parole officer & submit to drug tests. Call & find out when they will do it. As hard as it is, don't enable him. Remember the more you tolerate, the more permission you give him to do whatever he wants. You do NOT have to make your house available to him. An eviction notice is really nothing, it would be way better to have parole take him out. Law enforcement HATE doing it because it is usually a short term remedy & parents & spouses will let them back in....
He is free and clear, no probation, thats what makes it more difficult. Been there before but it is still awful
We found this out, as well. If that is the primary residence, you have to basically "Evict" them like a tenant. Very tough stuff.
