Okay I have been working all day on my daughters room. Getting out the old to bring in the new. Her grandparents mostly got her big things, I can't figure out what I am going to do.

LOL, you sound like me....and yes the 12 yr old knocked over the tree, because there is no room, thanks to all the toys......The tree is gone, taking it down as I type.....Take a deep breath and maybe put your feet up for 5 minutes, just might help with the frustration......

Marina, my house looks like a great big toy room. These kids needs some boubdries. However, I am not allowed to give them any, hehe.
you know tina - i always enjoyed putting the xmas tree up but loathed the idea of taking it down.

Well I figured it only looked like I wanted it to for one day then the baby redecorated it the way she wanted it. So once it fell and and I needed to figure out where things went it was easier to take it down.......Still have the other one up to keep us in the spirit until New Years!
I don't even want to think about all the Christmas stuff.
I am going to throw the tree away this year, my husband and I have had it for 6 years. It barely held up this year. All this work.......... it is never ending. We clean it and that same night the family makes it a mess. Oh well LOL I wouldn't have any others way

Hey I just saw what you wrote and I had to laugh if you clean it and it lasts more than a few hours count your blessings.....I swear as fast as it gets picked up or cleaned it is messy again......
