Don't get to excited.....The hubby went on sub because he started using again. So he went 3 weeks off drugs....a few days back on....as of today he has 6 days clean and he started sub. The reason he went on it was because he couldn't get a handle on the pain and went to drugs to stop it. He was hanging in and starting to feel better but as he got closer to 3 weeks off things went downhill and he could barely walk. He talk to his addiction doctor and they decided to put him on sub to give him a chance to stay clean for 30 days. He goes back to the pain doc soon to get another epidural in his neck.....and the hopefully to do acupuncture right after. If this stuff works then when he comes off the sub he will have some kind of chance to stay clean. He has got 30 days to get himself strong in the mind and body.
He is not pain free right now but he feels so much better his knees and neck still hurt but atleast he says it isn't unbearable.

why cant they leave on the sub forever if it helps mentally and pain and feels good dear sorry for all the quitionslove poopie
You never want to be on anything forever if you don't have to. I just want them to help him figure out what part is really real and what is in his head. He does have his fair share of pain issues, ok he is falling apart. But he may be able to live a good life without drugs and that is what he is shooting for.
