I really hope you are just taking a little break. I can't imagine coming here and never seeing you post again. You are a huge asset to this board. Don't let Pam's stupid games get to you. I think everyone see's her for the type of person she is. She has posted under at least 4 or 5 different screen names so that tells me she is able to get away with that type of behavior around here. It is really sad but nothing we can do about it. It is obvious she will beable to continue doing it. Some are truly sicker than others. Gidget cant do shortboards.It would be like Orca trying to surf on a toothpick.My guess is 10' balsam board reinforced with lightweight rebar.In the line-up she might be mistaken for a small shrimp boat.
Remember Gidget is all grown up now.If she was 16 in 1963,that would make her 58.I dont know if they make wet suits that large.If they do,I suggest she stay away from the upper California coast.Seals are Great Whites favorite treats.

watched this insanity play out regarding Tom's departure and read this thread... my comments are simple... I have been exactly where he is fed up,.. frustrated... ect.. a break does wonders..thought of leaving all together... if he does .. he does.. hope not and I mean that.. but.. It would be a shame..... so please allow me to chime in... dont go take a break come back then move forward....
now on to the other topics expressed.. as for the pam crap.. I dont care in this instance if she has or does post in other names... or why she is or might be.. all I can say is this .. she made a very valid point and put it on the table by saying somethings the other night... she said about someone what alot .. and I mean alot of others on here are and have been thinking... I had at one time addressed that same thinking not in an accusing nature with the one that it was about not so many weeks ago do to the mood changes and the typing issues... heck the whole personality changes... and if any of the ole timers on this board can truely sit here and not say they cant see any changes for the not so better.. they you are either blind or well... you just dont want to see it.... I tried as this persons friend and as a fellow addict because I cared for them to help and say .. hey whats going on... ect.. but they lets just say they didnt want to hear it and it was sent on my merry way and then I was consistently attacked on the board by 2/3rds of the toxic three.... partly as a direct result of my opinoin and trying to help the one..most of all my 'trying to help' was done off board but... anyway... back to pam.. she said maybe not in the best format but she said what I and many have been thinking and most didnt have the balls to say to her face.. so to speak.... you can either admit it or not.. it really is irrelevant to me one way or the other.... I say this not in defense to anyone... it is simply the reality.... I have love in my heart of every addict trying to seek recovery... I have no tolerance for those that spew hate on a daily basis and constantly try to keep crap going... I guess in a way I am playing the same game by posting this... but I feel it is time it is said....
as for judgements of others that I missed... like ladymav and others... well that is just in the past and whether someones assessment is true of not.. I rather cant believe that one would have the audacity to even go there given certain history but.... anyway.... that really was not helpful nor would serve no purpose and yet people want to question others as to the 'kind of person' they are... please... if you just look at the number of time certain people post things that are dragging others through the mud of the past and being down right cruel;... well it aint rocket science..... I am not judging anyone... it really isnt relevant what I think but.. what is pertainent is the impression we all leave with each other and any new person.... I am not perfect and never claimed to be... but I have never been sooo vicious as some ..
well .. I am sorry to Pam for not saying this before regarding supporting her in her theory... I may or may not like the message or the way it got to the boiling point but the root thinking I share.. all I can do is pray for all of us that we get back to recovery and some peace.... for the boards sake.... if we all would have a little more honesty openmindedness and willingness.. and hell why not through in some compassion and tolerence.. ( myself included of course.. esp that last one..lol..) then we would all be a little better off...
