You all probs gonna laugh at me here but I am getting some moles removed tomorrow and I am patreified. I have been told they stitch you and one my worste fears is stitches. I dont think I will be able to sleep tonight. I was talking to Kevin and I went and got myself upset. He told me I have nothing to worry about but I cant help but worry.
I am scared of the procedure too. I have made an appointment before but didnt turn up because I was so scared. I know I have to go this time cos these moles bug the cr*p out of me. He is going to come in with me etc but god I am pooping me pants.
He says if you can have a baby you can do this but thing is it wasnt the labour I was scared of when I was pregnant it was getting the stitches if I needed them. Luckily I didnt.
I am also back at the doctors in the middle of the week cos I have only gone and fractured my knee cap too so I might even need surgery on that too depending on how bad it is. I have never broken a bone in m body so I am worrying about that too.

Lynds i reckon you will be cool..its a very routine procedure...in and out if ya like .....i dropped a cooker on my thumb once and had to get 19stiches to save the top..gory i know...but to get over my fear and pain i made myself look at the nurse doing the stiching...mad it was too.Anyhow the knee sounds like a bit of a worry ...things like that sumtimes comeback at ya if not checked out soon....which im sure you will...good luck with the minor thing tomm.........Davey

That is frightening......you're allowed to be afraid.........you MUST GO.......that way ya won't ever have to worry up the road about them...........so you certainly are going, but you are allowed to get afraid..........STITCHES ain't nuttin, Lynds......I rakced myself up I can't count how many times I got stitched.......and all them surgeries I had............piece of cake.......they'll numb the area........you won't feel a thing............but still yeah you'd be nervous........who wouldn't be?
Your knee..........can ya raise your leg........like lay on the floor and lift it like ya were doing a leg lift............if you can't then ya worry........I busted my kneecap in a car accident.........you can't walk...........you'd be screaming your head off........but the test is if ya can't lift it then it is your patella..........then you need not worry bout stitches cause they STAPLE it........with a ton of staples, and that ain't no biggie either.
Baby cakes I wish I could go with you.........make sure ya BREATHE.....cloes your eyes and concentrate on your breath when they numb ya........put yourself someplace else...........let us know how ya do too, K sweetie? Anybody would be afraid though........anybody baby cakes......something ya ain't been through.
We'd be afriad of something you've been through........it's the fear of the unknown..........oh as a teen I got a bike kickstand stuck through my leg......right beside my knee........62 stitches cause the muscle and all came out........well I couldn't bend it........all the stitches would come out......was nothing...........had alot of them in me head too......bridge of my nose....see, that's why I'm such a lunatic.........LOL........you'll do good, BR!

Had one taken off my leg...fast and painless...watched the whole thing...fascinating!!! It's real routine and minor...you'll breeze it!

Right well what a wimp I am. I almost passed out of the table when he took his scalpel out and my blood....lol. and guess what....NO STITCHES. He used this thing which stunk of burnt skin. Not quiet sure what he done but apparently it was to close the wound and stop the bleeding.
Anyway I am 3 moles less and so glad I went ahead with it even though I will never go back and get any more done....lol.
Fingers crossed for my knee later this week. They are certain thats its a fracture to my patella. I can still walk etc but its when I am on my hand and knees or when I crouch down.
Anyway am off to make some grub.
