Pick up the phone and call someone or go to a meeting or read your N.A. text or Big Book. Make a gratitude list. Tell yourself, ok I'll pick up, but I'll do it tomorrow,.... maybe by tomorrow the obsession will be gone, Your 5 minutes from sucess, maybe the obsession will be gone in 5 minutes, maybe it'll be the last obsession you ever have!

Hi Bob, Let me say you are so sweet with your kind offer and much appreciated. But my obsession is trying to figure out how to get a new avator, ya' know, the cool moving ones like Dannys or Mistyeyes. Danny tried last night to help me, but I am a computer idiot, so he and Tmom offered to walk me through it over the phone. I told them last night my addiction was supposed to be drugs and now it has turned into figuring out this avator thing-a ma-jig.
I am glad to see you are feeling better, your posts are brave and honest.
