Turn And Face The Strange

howdy once again. i don't know if i'm pushing it with two questions in one night, but here goes. does anyone know of a good antidepressant that works for people newly clean from opiates? i tried wellbutrin in the past but was not satisfied AT ALL. has anyone had success with others? i would prefer an SSRI, but any output from you guys would be appreciated.

Paxil helped me when I had PAWS. (post acute withdrawal syndrome) I had to take large doses, though. Good Luck.

TIME MAY CHANGE ME...........BUT I CAN'T CHANGE TIME

Hey, Beet's I had been on that Paxil and that for me was a worse kick than dope. Now that's me though.

Personally I don't trust any of those "medications" hecka NO.

Not sure how deep in it you are, but I take the Omega-3 fishie oil, and Magnesium, B-Complex, and L-Lysine. They're using that Omega now on mood disorders and stuff. I'm a big screamer, yeller, and generally a fighter who will take on a full grown man. I'm a little chick, but super human strength if ya mess with me, and that stuff now I swear by. Lifts my mood as well.

Best of all to ya, Mr. Bowie fan. Hope you are well.
yeah, i did some research on paxil (paroxetine) and saw that most peoples experiences with it were pretty negative. The people who did like it said that they can never go without it now. I also have a family member who just got off paxil, and went through a very harsh separation, i use that word because he said it was harder to get over than his x-wife, he was biting off everyone's head for about 3 weeks. His doctor also put him on the omega after getting off paxil. and started him on small dose of cymbalta. Cymbalta seems interesting but i can't get much unbiast info from the net because of how new the drug is. i've been seeing the commercial everywhere though "Where does depression hurt - EVERYWHERE, Who does depression hurt - EVERYONE" hehehe
