Hello,I am writing tonight because i am not doing very well.I find myself falling deeper and deeper,and i have found that this group of friends,if I can call all of you that,is such a pick me up for me.I have a 12 yr old daughter who knows what iam dealing with but does not understand.Do any of you think it would be helpful if i let her read some of these threads under my wifes watchful eye.My wife would be able to help her understand a little better than i would,being the way i am at this time.I value every oppinion i get + or - no matter what.Thank you so much.I hope you all have a restfull weekend TY,Brent
Hey, maybe your wife or you could print out a few of info that you want her to have..that way she won't read something to scary for her. They seem so grown up at 12, but they are still young and she may get more scared than she needs to get. I think if you guys pick out which ones, it could help her understand. You are a caring father to be thinking of what she's going through while you're having such a tough time yourself. good luck
Hi, it's kind of hard to say. It might be helpful or it might not. Can I suggest that you search online for information about addiction? If she could come to understand that her dad has a disease that he is battling, she might understand better.
