Its vicoden and ibuprofen.
It's just the Vic's, but it does not have Tylenol.

I dont know the mgs, but iis it gonna get the job done, as far as pain killing is concerned?
Yes, but be very careful they are addicting ! !

Britney is so right!
They can get you in just as
much trouble as any hydro.

This may sound stupid, but a huge trigger for me is anythin with the number 7.5.
It always makes me think about taking pills. Whether it is on a billboard, or on the radio, even if someone just says it. Also when anyone says ib-profen. The profen part always makes me think about vicoprofen!!!
That is so sad. I doubt it will ever change.

When I take Lortab I feel lightheaded and carefree. Oh, the fact that Im in no pain is a bonus. Ha Ha. Is this what this med will do. I just took two Lortab7.5 and the pain in my back is just now starting to dull. I sure hope this other stuff is stronger. Thanks you all for your help.

It is not stronger in the narcotic part, but it does have ib-profen in it. I probably would try to take just ib-profen with your meds, (as long as you are not already taking it), I am not a doctor, but I do know my vicoprofen very well.

Oh - that's okay. I was funny. No one really talks about vicoprofen. That is why I responded. You did not offend me at all.
The triggers are going to happen no matter where I am, or who I am with. I have to face then dead on. The triggers are not the hard part. The hard part is not acting on them. I am learning ways to deal with them, but even a bottle of water is a trigger to me - since I always had one with me, so I could take my pills.

So I assume you no longer take vicoprofen? Im scared to take them but Im more scared of my back pain.

Anna, are you taking Lortab and Vicoprofen at the same time for your back? They are both hydrocodone based, but it seems odd that your doctor would prescribe both at once. Maybe there is just an overlap. I agree with the other posts......Hydrocodone is highly addictive, and if you're an addict, best to let someone else hold the pills for you, IMHO. M.

is right, you said you were new here.
How long have you been using ?

I am really on the other side of things. I got hooked on the pills by chance. Or I should say, I just stumbled across them, then got addicted. I don't have chronic pain, and never did. I always took the pills for reasons other than pain. (not including my surgeries).
I don't know how to deal with pain issues, and I hope that I never do. Than is probably impossible, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.
But I did work for spine surgeons, and I watched a few recoverying addicts go through fusions, and other BIG operations, without taking any narcotics for pain control. I once asked one of them why they wouldn't take any, and they told me that they knew if they even took one pill, it would start the whole recovery process again. And they would rather suffer for a while, than to go back.

btw- there are a lot of other options for back pain. Have you been to a pain managment doc??? They can do therapy, acupuncture, and injections. I heard they really do work.

NO!NO!NO!,
The Er Dr. prescribed me Lortab because I guess thats is what he is used to giving people who are in pain in the ER. No, I will not be taking the Lortab and Vicoprofen together. In fact I was going to try to get by with Alieve only, but my back pain is way beyond that.

I agree with Brit. I have the most God aweful pain, but I would rather chance that the fall into a deep addiction.
