My boyfriend is complaining of a weird symptom that is driving him nuts. The best way he says he can explain it is that it feels like there is air being shot at his brain inside his head. He says it is not a headache and it doesn't hurt, but that it is very annoying and weird and wishes it would stop.
Has anybody else experienced anything like this?
If you have, how long does it usually last approximately?
He has been 16 days clean of everything (he was 3 weeks on Suboxone first).
Any comments or help would be appreciated.

Mick-My guess is that he has Tinnitus. Very common for someone coming off drugs. I had it with Xanax, and now that I am tapering from Vic's I have it again. It goes away though. Google the word. It will give you more insight, but I'm certain that is what it is.

I looked up tinnitus and it seems to be more of a noise or ringing in the ears so I'm not sure if that's what he's talking about or not. From what I gathered (and I've heard him complain of it many many times now!) is that it is more of a feeling than a noise. It's like he feels like his brain is being pushed on with air. I don't know as I don't feel it and he says that's the best way he can think of to explain it.
I'll ask him more about it when we get home from work tonight. The only time I can come on is at work as we don't have a computer at home; otherwise he would be on here himself asking these questions. We've got to get a computer so he can come on himself!
I keep printing a lot of posts that I think he'll like and he finds them very helpful.
