Though I never do this, we are having the traditional (Southern?) New Year's food today ..black eyed peas and pork. We will skip the greens as no one would eat that besides me. I need all the luck I can get this year. Do you know what I mean? Have a nice day!

MJ.........Yep...we're going to beat it! I really do feel like 2005 is going to be a turning point in my life. And I hope it is for you and a lot of others on this board, as well. There are so many of us struggling with this beast! I know that deciding to quit and finding this board were the highlights of 2004 for me. And I, for one, intend to keep up the momentum and sail through '05 clean. I will be around for awhile, because I know my journey is FAR from over. But I am off to a good start and I thank all of you for your part in that, which was huge!

Mom thank you and please know the same goes for you 2 me.I will do anything in my power to help you through the ruff times.And isn't it going to be GREAT when we are released from the chains of addiction.I know I have a pretty ruff road ahead but between the support I have from my family + my family on here I know I can do this.I know I have to 16+ ultram a day is not keeping me alive ya know....So what kind of New Years dinner are you doing miss Southern Lady?I am going to make a pepperoni stuffing for a chicken breast.I enjoy and did enjoy staying home(Christmas) to make our own little dinner.It was really good for me and my little family....mj
We are having the Southern thing.........pork (tenderloin), black eyes peas, but we'll skip the turnip greens. Maybe pecan pie if I last that long today. LOL
