You sure arnt hun there are plenty of us here all at different times zones though lol which makes posting a bit difficult. we have not spoken before but im thinking of everyone this weekend when its a time for partying and exclusion because of addiction. im in the UK so dont have thanksgiving but im sure thankfull i found this site and im in recovery jackie xxxx

Jackie- how long have you been clean and sober. How long does it take to feel normal again...like living.

I'm in California. What time is it in the UK? 9PM here.

Hi im in the UK and was addicted to OTC pain killers for the best part of 20 years im about 4 months clean now and happy to be that way. hi jaz jackie xxx

Hi Jasmine. I live in Monterey...about two hours from SanFransico and six hours from Los Angeles. How bout you?

6 months. That's great! Please....tell me how you did it and how you get past the cravings. My drug of choice is Norco, Hydro, Vicoden,Lortab.

Hi, i live in Rohnert Park an hour away fron SF, finally someone close, how funny! i am the same as you 6 years of pain killers, i went to rehab and go to meeting on a regular basis, it is the only way 4-me, i swear it works!

Jasmine- so think the NA meetings will help? Was your rehab drugless? Inpatient/Outpatient?

it was in patient 28 days and they detoxed me with Phenbarb, yuck! and i was done detoxing in 3 days!, it was a woundeful experience and i trully miss everyone there and it also costs alot $20.000.000.. but my insurance payed thank god, know they are using Subutex a new drug on the market. how r-u doing?

I'm struggling. I confided in my doctor and he was great. Very understanding. He perscribed subutex and it was great. I had little to no w/ds....but I relapsed a few days ago. I've gone through 40 tabs in two days...now I'm back at day 1 of w/d's it a viscous circle.

I have two small children I can't leave for 28 days of detox...

I have 2 year old twins, they need there mommy, u need help..i said the same thing! you went thru 40 subutex in 2 days?, why? do they get u high or something??

No- I was on 20 Lortabs per day. I went to my doctor and he gave me Subutex for 4 days...I was clean and sober for about two weeks, but Tuesday I went back to the pharmacy and had a script refill for Lortab. I took 40 in two days...now I'm out and back at square one. Day 1 with no Lortabs, w/d are not that bad, but the cravings are killing me. The Subtux worked, but I can't go back to my doctor and tell him I've relapsed again...this would be the third time! I'm such a frickin loser.

NO U R NOT, U R A ADDICT WHO NEEDS HELP AS WE ALL ARE! please sweetie, and u only used for 2 days you should be fine i was clean for 6 months slipped for 2 days and i was ok as far as the w/d , but the cravings were a b****!, still are sometimes!!
