What Do i do i have a friend that does ice and im scared what if something happens to him how do i approach this problem he has without him gettin upset with me i dont wanna lose him as i friend i love him dearly
Be straight forward and honest . Express your concerns, without condemning the person, only the choice to use . Everyone hates hearing the saying "only the user can make the choice to quit" but it is true . Looking back I wish someone had been more straight with me . If only someone had told me to look at what I was doing to myself , and others. Way back in the beginning ,....What continually pops up in these posts is how us addicts have a hard time seperating ourselves from the people that we use with , party with , having a support group of people who understand , and support our choice to quit using helps a lot. Wether it be family, friends, or others at recovery meetings...i.e. N.A. A.A. , or a lot of people just come here and other similar sites. good luck
