I find that gear makes women look older quicker than men but it depends how you look after yourself too. Looks like you have come out the other side looking great.

Becks im 30 and think that alot of people stay looking young on drugs but then again you do get the one's that end up looking really ill. Suppose im lucky in a way, ive battered my body but i've always eaten properly and gone to the gym even when i was on H. So i reckon its all down to how you take care of your self.

Why are you so hard on yourself? I don't think you look anywhere near 50!!!!! Glad you got rid of the gray beard though. I hate it when they come in a different color than your regular hair. It's nice to put a face with a name.

Beard comes in grey- had the 2 tone look for awhile-go figure?? just took it off 2 days ago >

Jack, you're bang on the money with that. Coz he has witnesses a fair bit of violence, due to the way I was living when I was on the gear, he is ultra protective. Having him to look after was what kept me going. I never neglected him no matter how desperate my situation, but he's happier now, coz life is more settled, and I spend more quality time with him. He had me in stitches yesterday. He was sleeping on the sofa, on his back with his bollocks in the air, and his head hanging off the sofa. He twitched in his sleep, slid head first onto the floor and did a perfect backward roll and crashed through the door, landing in a heap out in the hall. He quickly tried to recover his dignity, and gave me a filthy look for laughing at him. Dogs can be so comical!

But comical- you aint kiddin.!
I,ve seen him fixate on a housefly for an hour. Stalking it . Jumping from table to chair to sofa to sink. Until he leaped like Super Kat , and swiped at it as he fell from the top of the couch,smashed a lamp &, he took off after it again- until it flew out the window.
He had the good sence not to go thru the window- we were living on the 3rd floor at the time.
But your right- he looked at me ,trying to maintain his dignity
