I believe that i might have OD'd on speed recently, or came very very close. What are the signs of a speed OD?
I'm confused b/c I asked my doctor if it was possible to OD on speed and she said "well that's a tricky one isn't it?" and left it at that.
I've stopped using since, but am curious as to what happened to me that time.

What were your symptoms? How did you take it? I have done too much before but only when I injected it. First it felt like my lungs had filled up with fluid and I coughed uncontrollably, then I was really shaky, heart racing crazy speed, head spinning, could still function but thought I was gonna have a heart attact at any second. I took some Klonopin/Clonazepam and I don't know if that made it better or worse, just tired with the other symptoms still going. It wasn't pleasant. Kate77 might have an experience, you could ask her?

well i'd been speeding for 4 days before my final exam. Had barely eaten/drunk anything during that time. Then the morning of the exam i swallowd some speed (my normal dose). Around 3 hours later dad drove me into my exam, i was sipping speed-laced water on the way. When i got into the building the elevators were packed, so i raced up 8 flights of stairs (sculling strong coffee and wearing my heaviest boots - they weigh about 2 kilos each).
By the time i got to the xam room, i was badly out of breath, felt like i had saliva rising in my throat and kept having to swallow it down and gulp in air. I could barely see - there seemed to be this white powdery glow in front of my eyes.
This lasted the whole 2 hour exam - i don't even remember what was on the paper let alone what i wrote.
When i got home i literally sat in one spot for 9 hours, barely moved.
Then for the next two weeks i was EXTREMELY depressed, crying, dizzy, lightheaded, exhausted etc.
Could that have been an OD?

oh yeah and my heart was THUNDERING like hell...could barely feel it 'beat' as it just felt like one big movement, with no lull in between.

I had the greyed vision and sat in the same chair for hours too, but I remember the whole experince. i had been up for a few days and was dehydrated too which prob contributed to the OD. The symptoms I could handle, just a bad day, but the fear that I was about to have a heart attack from all the signs scared the hell out of me. I did do way too much though. It sounds like an od to me, but I am no expert. It is great to hear you have stopped using now, congrats on your clean time, I hope it is all going really well for you

i have od on heroin and its not pretty, i'm not sure what od'ing on speed/crank is like. i would see a doctor if your still feeling sh**y. and try to cut back on your usage. good luck
