Hi, Mat
My son is 30 years old and about $50,000 in debt because of very poor spending habits, a drinking problem, oxycontin addiction, and then heroin addiction. He ended up in legal trouble because he could no longer hold a job and he started stealing to support his and his girlfriend's drug addiction. He was on probation for over a year, lost his license for 2 years and will get it back in December, and has paid off the fines for one of the counties (one more to go). One day at a time he's working himself out of the mess his bad choices have put him in. We allowed him to move back home but the financial consequences are his. He went awayto rehab and attended his 90 meetings in 90 days as recommended. He's had a few slips along the way, but pretty quickly got back on track. He had to get away from the girlfriend he used with and has started to date a very special young lady. You can turn your life around too. I will keep you in my prayers.
God bless!
Susan

NORMAL. Normal life. Normal is a cycle on a washing machine.
That being siad you want to just be able to function like the rest of this here world you need to try again. It's a cycle. Go for it again, Matt. Like Susan said about the debt. Maybe look past that and ya have great family so you are warm, and fed you can do this.
We've all tried, and relapsed or LAPSED. Then we did it. You can do it.
