Just thinking this morning about Christmas. When i was a kid , holidays, bd's etc, were not necessarily the best of times. We didn't really do much. Theoretically we celebrated Hanakuh, but not really. The best thing for me was i'd go to my Catholic friends house every Christmas & play with him & all his new toys. I remember always wishing I had a mother as nice as him.
My wife makes a big deal out of thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays & everything else, & it makes it all full of meaning. A guy by himself i dont think has it in him to do it. So the woman makes the home, and does give a lot of meaning to family and life. So that, and sex, I guess more then makes up for their absolute insanity.
Another issue (non related), decided to check out Tenessees gun laws before going this morning. It seem like it says this: If u dont have a liscence u can have one in ur premises or business but not on your person unless your intent is "not to go armed." The state has to prove your intent is "to go armed." Now how in the f..k do you have a fun with out the intent "to go armed"
I love politicians.
My father in law purched a bunch of acres of land in the country. We decided when we get back we are setting up a little shooting range on it. I suggested we make our targets bad guys: Bankers, Lawyers, & INsurance guys.

and your right about the gun law thing... makes you wonder about the common sense factor... and btw that is quite a list of targets... remind me to stear clear of tennesee though I am not a lawyer I have been thought of as an insane wowan that works for one... *wink* wink*....lol

I wear a 22 magnum Ruger when I ride...kinda sad in our area to have to wear a gun, but there are some scarey things out there and I don't mean the wild animals. I would absolutly shoot first and ask questions later.

I know, Browndog, that you might find this hard to believe, but I carry a gun too, have gone through courses to learn how to shoot, and am married to the best sniper in the New Orleans area... <smile> I might dress up and carry Louis Vitton and all that crap, but you definitely don't want to try to carjack me at a stoplight or anything... I don't think i'm ever leaving florida again, this yankee blood thinned out too quick & dem der hills is cold.
Now if woman went in bullwinkles car lot above, how would they spend all time shoppping between the 2 colors, i know they would, but how.
speaking of driving, i thought alabamians were bad, floridians were worse, but tenessee & georgia. help. has no one ever heard that the left lane is for passing, not for cruising along at 72. I gotta say, the south might be tougher, but I can see why the yankees won the civil war. Not to start it over again but has anyone ever whondered why Florida ends with "duh" and alabama ends with "uh".

thanx guys, to tell the truth , i've had better. i got out og skeeing though. best time was when i went with my son, my father in law went with my wife and daughter. my eleven year old was giving directions, and five minutes after we left our cabin we knew we had no idea where we were. we finally found our way to this little city outside of gattlenberg where we were headed & went go carting & stuff, then on the way back, well , we sort of got lost & ened up in N Carolina, Cherokee, eventually, about 3 hours later we ended up driving up & down every hill in gatlenberg, & found somewhere that looked familiar, & it was getting dark & we were low & gass, & my son said "This looks like the last card to draw " &* we were there. Hope you guys had a good , clean Christmas.

i'M NOT SURE IF deadbeat dad's should get off so easily. Again, this is another area that woman excell, though. I've gotta guess, statistically, for every 9 men with the attitude of not feeling really responsible of their kids, the is only 1 woman. My stepdaughters father doesn't talk to her because , as his mother (her grandmother ) says "he's depressed." Unbelievable. He acts like she is supposed to pursue him for his love rather then being entirely grateful that after all the crap he pulled, that she still is interested in maintaining a relationship with him at all. Some people are sick (and maybe even boardering on evil) human beings. And this kind of sickness is way worse (because the choices are so clear, & the manipulation is so obviously & intentionally harmful) then the kind of disease or whatever it is we drug/ex-drug people have. Its intent is a severly twisted form of emotional something-cant call it love. It is almost criminal..
