Well wow this has been a hell of a road ! But I guess you all know that! Well I'm not sure if yall remember me My boyfriend and I both were hooked on Ms Roxicodone him for 4 years me for 2years and 14 days ago we went and my boyfriend was put on Suboxone.We could only afford the program for him it cost a $1,000. Plus the 200. for the meds! And I kinda done it on my own I bought some Methadone off of the street and winged myself off And my god it's been HELL! I don't want to do anything I have no energy All I think about is these damn pills why do I still want them I see what they have done to me and to him and I still want them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am taking Vitamns, Energy pills but they don't help..... will I ever not want them? I was addicted to meth for 3 years I went through rehab and that was hell but I swear nothing like this sometimes I just sit and cry because I want a loratab or a Roxicodone ya know? Can someone give me someadvice???????
hey, I know how you feel. It is that crazy obbsession thing...and your body is still not well, so the cravings just to get back to normal must be so strong.

I swear, I have never had anything kick my butt like painkillers...AND THESE ARE GIVEN TO YOU BY DRS...THE STREET DRUGS SEEM TO HAVE LESS EFFECTS...
Is there anyway that you can get some sub?? I had to go to treatment, and I am glad that I did..the cravings were horrible..I am glad that i was locked up....
But hang in there..
It will get better, but it is going to take time..

Sheila, thats what my post on fatigue was about. It seems the opiates really damage our body and the fatigue is the one last symptom I have.
Methadone is the worst drug for your adrenal glad which when damaged causes fatigue. I have some links for this but I dont know if its kosher to put the links on the board.

Welcome. And congratulations to you and your boyfriend for making the decision to get off the roxi. How is your b/f doing on the sub? As for your cravings, yes it does get better. Really. It won't always be this hard. but you have to fill your life up with other stuff. Sitting around made it a lot worse for me. I went to a couple of AA/NA meetings a day for the first 90 days -- don't know how you feel about that, but it can't hurt, right? The mental addiction is what keeps people going back.... it needs ongoing treatment. Mine sure does, because I tend to forget the hell of active addiction and remember only that first warm buzz that I got early on in my using.....

Dear Shelia Is there any clinics or something for people of low means to go to for medical help/I use to buy the methodone off the strrt & lucky for me(really)the person got caught.I have heard how hard that is to get off of.I started the suboxone last Tuesday & really I credit it for saving me.That & the support I get from here & my family.....WELCOME...mj
