Dear All,
Before I head back to school, I want to thank all of you for helping me since I joined this site on July 26th, 2004.
I learned many years ago that addiction is a disease. A disease that, unfortunately, can strike people of any age and without warning. Fighting addiction takes an effort that, at times, seems insurmountable. That's where AA/NA, therapy, and amazing forums - such as this - come in. With the never-ending help of such wonderful and obliging people, this site will continue to offer support for people dealing with all stages of addiction.
The numerous threads and posts have been helpful, not only to me, but others who have been in need of support and insight. My hope is that the information I have shared through my posts has been supportive and inspirational, because I know the thousands of posts I have read continue to have a tremendous impact on me.
Although you may not see me post for a period of time, I will continue to remember what so many of you have taught me, directly or indirectly. For those teachings, supportive posts, words-of-wisdom, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
May 2005 bring you continued success in your endeavors and, as always, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'll be thinking of you.
