Why, because my addiction isolates me completely from feeling & connecting with others and if I knew that my world was ending in 6-7 months, I don't want to die alone & lonely.
Being clean & sober for me, allows me to be blessed with other people, connected spiritually with my HP, God and it allows peace & serenity in my life.

nawww....think i would spend as much time with my loved ones as possible....and maybe go do or see something we'd never done before....been there, did that with dope...why do something i already have done when the worlds gonna end...and anyways...i would probably hope we would survive it so I would prepare and get ready for it..so .being smacked out would limit our chances of surviving it...lol

What difference does it make? You are either sick or well...this is a recovery site, people are trying to choose to be well..."what-if" thinking keeps you sick.

An what wonderful cents they were. 2 weeks ago your answer would of been sooo different. Today you sound good,ready to live life and feelin' groovey as it were.Nothing like the miserable,hurtin'soul I was writing to before.

Im with MNM. Whats the point of thinking "What if" I usta do that "What if I won the lottery, would I go back?" and my answere usta be "YES" and ya know what? It didnt take winning the lottery or my mom dying or my kids dying because by saying yes to all those excuses I was saying yes to my addiction and it left doors opened that shoulda been closed. I couldnt get clean time cause my heart was not closed to my addiction
