I'm calling doc Monday morning. I don't think I can go through xanax withdrawls. I'm so emotioal right now..well since my pills have been stolen..stupid bastards..I have been crying for no reason off and on throughout the day. I obviously have had to drop my xanax intake or I'll run out. Is this why I am so emotional? If so..I can not do this. Fioricet is the devil..I was so out of it last night..and at work all day...kept dropping things, repeating myself, fixed myself a plate of food at home and forgot..god that stuff is crazy. Not too many drugs get me high, and I guess fioricet is one of them. I'm afraid to take any today because I have 2 full service caters..which I am a perfectionist..Always get a good tip and usually a card..or something..one guy gave me flowers..pretty nice huh? Anyway..I'm calling doc Monday and explaining about the xanax. I don't want the tabs replaced, just the xanax. I hope they help me or I'll freak out.

Please post xanax withdrawls for me so I know if I'm having them or not. Since I started the fioricet..I want to know if it's xanax withdrawl..or just a side effect from the fioricet.

I can't comment on xanax never had experience with it.
My np told me you can go from Percs to vics, vics to codiene and codiene to vics, loris etc, but you can't go from Vics , percs, codiene to Fioricet without experencing WD.. two totally different drugs.
My guess is you are feeling WD from the Loritabs which I was saying earlier it is not a subsitute.

Why wait until Monday? Don't they have a dr on call in your dr's office?
I don't know much about the benzo withdrawals but I do know you can go into siezures. Please be really careful. If you start feeling the least bit concerned about how you're feeling, get to the ER.

I no I took aitvan ...and when I stoped felt funny ,,but only on them for week or so ,,made me feel dopy ..ummm its the pain meds ,,you think ,,feel better sweety ,,,oooo feel for you ,,work ,,its hard to keep a happy face ,,thats was my problem ,,I was always so calmn and nutering ,,,but no pills ,,oo boy ,,love poopie

The weird thing for me about xanax withdrawal is other than not being able to sleep at all, I didn't KNOW I was going thru w/d My husband said I was acting and talking weird and that's putting it mildly. Now keep in mind this was cold turkey after using large amounts to detox from opiates. My doctor cut me off so I had no choice cept c/t I had to be a good 5-7 days without xanax and ended up being taken by ambulance to E.R . As mentioned above I did have seizures. Don't want to go into any more scary details except to say you absolutely do not want to just stop the xanax. Please call a doctor asap....

Cowgirl..my headache neuro is in indy...about 80 miles away. I don't think anyone is in his office until Monday. I have enough xanax to last me until Monday..but unfortunately it takes 2 days for them to return my phone calls. I can call my nurse practitioner Monday and explain and I'm sure she'll give me a couple days till I can get ahold of my neuro. Problem is..I have lied to her twice about pills being stolen and she replaced them both times. We are good friends and she knows my husband well..he works at the hospital..and I will tell her to call him if she needs to to confirm the theft. I hope she'll help me out..even if just for a couple days till I can get a return phone call from my neuro. wish me luck!! Like I said before..I'm not getting the tabs replaced..just the xanax. Yes, cowgirl..all things happen for a reason..maybe this is my wake-up call for the loritab to get me off them. I'll be out of them in about 3 days, but I really am not worried about that. That's a good sign..right? Just scared about the xanax.

Here's the weird thing about me..I always go off loritab and onto Dolgic plus, which is the same as fioricet (barbituate), about every 4 months because the loritab looses their effect. I have never had withdrawl from doing this which is why I'm not afraid of not having the tabs..go figure. My body is weird like that. I'll be fine on the fioricet except they make me uncoordinated and kinda high. I don't like that when I'm at work because I am a perfectionist and can not think straight on fioricet. I could have gotten the dolgic, but it hurts my stomache. Dolgic plus and fioricet are the same thing except dolgic has a coating on it and it's a big horse pill. I will throw the dolgic's up after about 2-3 weeks. My body can't handle them for some reason. So far the fioricet is helping the headaches..probably because they make me high..but no withdrawl..so I guess I can't complain too much.

laura its taken me about a yr to come off xanax, and i did it very slowly. ive been off around 3-4 months now. i cant say enough that u need to tell ur doc, u can go into seizures even cutting them down!! i did until my doc got involved!! dont ever go cold turkey with xanax...pls tell ur doctor!!!
