I just wanted to tell everyone that I had a SOBER New Year's Eve. We went out with another couple for a few hours. We left early cause it was to expensive and crowded. Came home and just sat around the fireplace, played pool, and watched the ball drop on TV I bought a bottle of sparkling apple cider for me and my best friend (she is pregnant) I will admit that it was strange being sober, but I wouldn't change it for nothing.
Marina......Congratulations! That's great! I am glad you and your husband came to an understanding about his pills. That would be sooo hard for me just to know there were pills in my house. I know that sooner or later I will have to cross that bridge, but not yet. I have such respect for recovered alcoholics. If I could run up to the corner and buy pills, I'm not so sure I could resist.
