Oh thanks I read real quick all the painting of the paneling.......appreciate, Robbie especially.......won't have time now........and Diff, paper hanging is NUTS..........my dad used to do it.......ya need the patience of a Saint...and whatever ya do don't go buying a print ya got to match or you'll be Tattybyebye's.
I'm partial to wallcovering myself.........I enjoy a textured wallpaper........here's a little known Bryn fact..........I worked in a chi-chi pooh pooh interior design showroom at one time, and I know squat about fabrics and all.......I worked with all guys and eventually they told me to just stand in the front and look pretty....I couldn't even fold fabric right.......damask, tulle, all that junk.......who knew?
Robbie, I'm sure when I start I'm gonna ask you or my brother about colors and all..........oh yeah Diff my brother hangs his own wallcovering too.......creative people I envy.

Bryn, sorry about your momma - hope she gets well soon. And as for the wallpaper, I haven't hung a shred of it yet. The council builders have gone AWOL, and I'm not starting work till they've finished. And as for textured wallpaper, I loath it. With a passion. I like nice clean plain cream walls with white or polished wood work, and one wall with an accent colour. In the bedrooms a bit of colour. Lots of "real" artwork about the place. A few choice ornaments. Big chunky furniture. Do you get Ikea in the states? I'm obsessed with it. God I'm such a chav!
Been out buying curtains and bedlinen today. Ya guessed it - Floorlength heavy cream curtains. White bed linen. I'm gonna do my bedroom lilac with the chimney breast magenta. White linen. I saw on this colour expert on TV and she reckoned that is the most relaxing colour scheme to have in a bedroom. Soothing and almost womb-like.
I want to do the boxroom with a "driftwood" theme. Hell, there's no point living on the coast if you can't have a "driftwood" room, is there?
I'm lucky, coz the two reception rooms and the two double bedrooms all have chimney breasts. Nice focal point to the room. A room with a chimney breast looks like a room is supposed to look!
Anyway, off to read my Ikea catalogue...

Been out buying curtains and bedlinen today. Ya guessed it - Floorlength heavy cream curtains. White bed linen. I'm gonna do my bedroom lilac with the chimney breast magenta. White linen. Weird, Bryn, my post to you here just up and vanished. Seems to be happening a lot lately from what I've read from others. Saying lots of prayers for your mom and thinking of you daily. You are a good daughter and a good friend to all. Hope things are lloking up with you.
