So it's his 1 day off, kids in school, could have had a day together, but soon as I stop at the store to get a Starbucks and he goes to the bathroom. I purchase my drink and go to the car, and out he comes with a 40 oz. Gets in pops the top, I look at my phone and its 10:15am!!!! I will never understand how alcohol can have so much power over a person. I really don't know how much longer I can watch this and keep letting him make my life unhappy.

I found strength and hope in Al Anon. It is a family support program. Many of my friends say that it saved their lives from insanity. You will learn that you are powerless over someone else's addiction, how to love with detachment, to never force a crisis, etc.
They are in the telephone book and online. There should be meetings near you.
