Hello,
It's been one month and my body is falling apart. Headaches, joint and muscle aches so bad I can hardly walk. Is this typically? If so, what do you do?
Thanks,
Hello ghost.
I am not a doctor but from my own experience when I went into a recovery centre for my alcoholism and I started to withdraw I suffered all the above. Headaches joint and muscle aches .
Mine was mainly in the back of my neck and down my back. Stress. I also suffered from what we call electric fleas. Inching mainly on my arms a little on the legs. Its caused by the nerve endings drying up. (Vitamin B can help with that.) I couldnt sleep for more than two hours at a time.all the Paranoia .
The thing though with me I was under medical supervision and they were able to help me through it. Sometimes when withdrawing we can suffer from seizures. (Not sure of the spelling.) And with the legs you said you can hardly walk it could be and thankfully I only had it slightly what they call Peripheral neuritis
I would rather someone more professional explain it to you. You can get through all this but I would suggest you see a doctor who knows a little about alcoholism and talk to them.
I dont know if I have been of help or this is the reply you wanted but keep posting let us know how youre going.
I will be praying God bless Lionel
