Hi all...just wanted to post this milestone in my recovery! I did get my 3 month chip on Thursday night....because I knew I would be unable to go to a meeting today!
I shared for the first time...and I felt a lot of love from those guys! They were so proud of me....this group helped tremendously in getting to this point.
This is the first time in 20 years that I have been clean of all things...including booze....In the past when I quit pills....the longest I could "hang in" was close to 60 days....
Now I don't feel as though I am "hanging in" I feel like I am moving forward and its so fantastic.
So for you guys out there that think you are stuck...and how will you get through this...well....you will...one day at a time. Just worry about today!!
Yippeee!! I am happy....I live in Hawaii....I just scored my dream job!! and I am clean and living life for real....
