Welcome Princess! Your in the right place. Everyone started with something. Car accident, back problems and just for kicks. Tell us where your at. What were you taking...how much and did you stop yet?
Welcome to the board! I am off to bed but I will ask you a few questions to get you started and then others will come over and help you out..
How many years have you been using? What medications are you taking? How many mgs a day are you taking? Do you have doctor you can talk to?
Have you ever gone through a withdrawl before? Good luck to you. You will find a lot of support here. Good night! Rae

Hey Wendy great minds think alike. Hope you are having a good evening. It is past my bedtime. Talk to you soon. Rae
Princess,

Welcome to the board. Please keep posting. Be good to yourself.

Cheers,

Hi Princess
For me it was fear of living without pills but then there was also fear of living (or dying) with pills. I didn't know what to do either. It's scary but once the pills were out of my system I knew I did the right thing getting off them. It's really nice to not have to worry about how many pills I have left and if I have enough to last thru tomorrow. We all had fears about getting clean but many of us did it. Give it a try. If you don't like it you can always go back. But I doubt if you'll want to <grin>
welcome to the board princess...and good luck on your quest to become clean!
You've come to the right place. Now sit down over there on that couch and tell us about yourself.

You won't get just ONE person here to help you with whatever you want to accomplish, you'll wind up with a dozen or more of us providing support and answering questions.

I kicked a 2 year long Lortab habit on June 13, cold turkey. You'll soon see how much help the folks here can be through it all. At first, I know, it's hard to talk to ANYONE about your addiction, in person or on-line. That will pass.

Best of luck, and looking forward to your next post.

James
