Hello Everyone,
I've not posted for a while because I really haven't had the need too but then I remembered I'm not just here for myself and that there are other people who need the same help I received.
After 55 days I feel like I never took anything at all. I'm completely recovered both physically and mentally. I haven't had not one craving for anything and I'm not fighting any type of urge to take anything. Its wierd but I personally just don't have those feelings and I'm glad I don't.
I hope everyone is doing ok with their own recovery and that you are getting the most out of evervyday.

You are so fortunate. I am on day 30 today and still don't have my motivation back. I used to be so on top of things. My work has suffered because I was working during those horrible couple of weeks of withdrawal and my house is a disaster. I have two kids whom I tried hard to pay attention to while feeling like crap. I hope that when I reach day 55 I will be back to normal.

So happy to hear your news about no more symptoms. I am highly encouraged! I am on day 22 and still having to make myself move every step. Most other probs gone, except still not sleeping great. Man, I can't wait to be normal! I, too, am not really craving, just thinking about how much I miss all that energy. But not enough to go back to my old ways. I was taking about 140 mg Norco daily for 12 months, and on some form of hydro and methadone for 8 years.
Having hope that the New Year may find with my old self is definately a boost tonight. Congrats on your success! Isn't it great to know you won out over the evil stuff?

hello th, man i am so glad about 55 day's so by that if i can get 60 days under my belt i will be perfectly normal again. well that is certainly something to look forward to where ya from ? and tridlemom you say your in west ga. just where i am about 50 miles north of atlanta in cumming but i grew up in cartersville just outside of rome looking forward to hearing where you guys are from

Atoz..........Greetings from Carroll Co., GA..........God's country. We moved here 15 years ago from Forest Park and still have business there. Couldn't live there again.though. Cumming is great also. Growing fast. I have family up in Dawsonville so go through there alot.
Hope you are all doing well today. I read your other posts about tapering. goodluck! It is definately the right way to do it, if you can. I always said I would go that route, but coulnd't refrain from taking massive amounts as long as I had them. In the end, I cut out the hydros, went on methadone for 1 week and then stopped it all c/t. Today is day 23 and I feel awesome. It has been my best day yet! Thank you Lord. So, see, there is hope.....lots of it! I was so afraid of doing this that I put it off for months and months, spent thousands of dollars to avoid having to do it. It has been hard, but not nearly as hard as I had expected. I wish you and wifey the best! Take care.

i am just about 8 minutes from dawsonville as a matter of fact my wife work at the ingles at hwy 400 and 53 wow what a small yet large world. i knew my best friend was in prison in carrollton. he had a job at the statepatrol office there. he is now out and doing fine i think or at least i hope so he is a real great guy, keep on posting maybe we have more in common. see ya in the posts

Yes, the Carrollton jail is known near and far. It is so HUGE, they bring folks here from all over the state. Maybe the only high-rise jail in GA. Later......
