A & E 10pm Est Tonight - Intervention

Tina (#8).
Sunday, May 8 10:00PM ET/PT

Once a valedictorian, Tina is now a real-life desperate housewife. This mother of a three-year-old spends her days gambling her house and car payments while stoned on prescription pills. With most of her jewelry in pawn shops, and forced to take paycheck advances, Tina now writes insurance policies from home and spends her days at horse tracks and in Bingo halls. With her marriage, health and finances in complete crisis her husband Harley says that "this show may be the only thing left that can save our lives."
Thanks for reminding me. I just watched it, I taped it earlier. It was a good one. I cried my eyes out. It really hit home for me for some reason. It may have been because vicodin was my DOC as well... She was spending money like crazy though at the track and buying her pills. I was happy to see she went to treatment, although she signed herself out after one week. Thank goodness she came to her senses and went back in, she needed to. I still am amazed at just how many people take 30+ pills a day. I just couldn't imagaine needing to take that many in a day. It said she needed to take 300 pills a month just to keep her out of withdrawls. I felt really bad for her what a horrible way to live... Anyway thanks for letting us know it was coming on tonight.... Rae
