My son was addicted to heroin only about 6 weeks when he realized he was way in over his head, and sought treatment.
He had, however, been using MANY other drugs (and alcohol) for about five years. I think his heroin addiction may have actually saved his life (relatively speaking).
I have a lot of Faith in the journey of Soul, and though I lose it (A LOT), I still have an ultimate belief that "all is as it should be." THAT is what gets me through....
