I know, I know, I have to go to the dentist but I can't get in until the 2nd week in April. I was like what if there is infection? They said "then go to the hospital and they will give you antibiotics. Such caring Drs. in Florida, boy I'll tell ya.
Anyway, I am sending this post out so all of my supporters can say it is Ok to take one of those Propoxalines or whatever they are, generic darvocet, I think. I took one about a week ago and haven't since. I must have something stuck in the tooth again, I keep swishing but no luck. Pain pills make me itch, don't like them but better than toothache pain.
So, no interactions between xanax and pain pills right? I don't need to panic out like I am going to die from mixing the two. And I know I will without someone slapping me around and saying it is safe.
PLEASE do not worry I am substituting, I would do that with alcohol if that were the case. I am being sincere and honest. Anything that goes down my throat, yall will be the first to know.
So, what ya think? And hurry up too cuz it HURTS and I don't want to be a devil when the kids get up. I am mean when in pain. Er, demanding and bitchy too obviously hehe.
I wish I had an answer for you Kaela, but I don't know anything about mixing stuff with xanax, the one thing I never got into.

no one can decide for you. only you know the truth in your addiction. you said yu took one last week and your still around kicken it. so i say listen to your body and you have to do what you feel is the right thing to do in your heart. i am reluctant to share my experience with mixing the 2 . imo its not a good idea. but you won't die from it.

Kaela, I believe that xanax is for anxiety and pain pills are opiates for pain. I don't think mixing the two will hurt anything. Maybe make you high, but if you are really in a lot of pain it'll just take the pain away. Why don't you call your doc or pharmacist to make sure?

Kaela, Im not sure if I read your post right.. I just wante to let you know that Alcohol is contraindicated with xanax, it can be lethal with any form of a benzo.. Do not drink alcohol at all with xanax or the like.. Alcohol and pain pills have a warning that alcohol will intensify. however this is for the dosage dr has prescribed I would avoid this mixture as to many pain pills with alcohol could cause excessice respiratory depression.. Pain pills and benzos have been prescribed together for me, I was warned of increased drowsiness, this is at the normal prescribed dose.. however I have not taken a benzo and pain pill within the same day because I exceed my dosage of my pain medication because of my addiction. I thought it to be unsafe in my opinion.. Your best bet is to follow your drs prescription and dosage when using an opiod and benzo together..
hehe, angie, I wasnt going to take pain pills, xanax and drink, I was being a smarty by saying if I was using the pain meds as a cheat I would use alcohol instead of pain meds. Thank you for letting others know the dangers.

They would not do any work on you (I went once for a terrible toothache on a Sunday) but they would most likely give you an antibiotic do you know how important this is. An infection can travel to your heart and you have had this for a while. I know you are afraid of the dentist that is why this is the perfect option right now for you. They almost always give out antibiotics. Please go!!!
