My New Year's Eve is a very quiet one tonight, spending one last night with Teddy. They are leaving in the morning to go back to South Carolina. The older Teddy gets, the harder it is to say goodbye. It was great having two weeks with him though. We took him to get his first hair cut while they were here and had a birthday party for him.
I sure hope that your wishes for the new year come true. We all deserve it!

As we close out this year I pray for all of us to have a better, stronger, and happier New Year. May 2017 be a year that our adult addicts find a new direction in their lives and be free of their demons! May they see the way life can really be for them and find a new path towards freedom from addiction. May we as parents, siblings, family members or whatever role we have in their lives be strengthened and focused so that we can guide them without enabling them, but be supportive and let them know how much we love them!

We all made it another year. Happy new year to all! Hoping this one will be a good for everyone.
I have to say I was dreading our holiday plans. all went well. no regrets. glad to be starting a new year! Thank you all for your support in 2016 and Wise words of wisdom for 2017!

Because of you girls ALL Of you I am stronger, I miss my son , I look at his pictures and get so angry at what he has become. I am hoping the same thing , he finds a way back to us. I know in my heart I will never see him again. If he comes back it's jail time.
