Another Clean Day I Made It!

Well I made it yesterday. Today is my full 38th day of being sober. I think I have the flu. I threw up all night last night. It got so bad my hubby wanted to take me to the ER. But I knew if I went there, I would end up asking for pills. So I stayed here and got thru it. I was up till 3am. I feel better now. I'm a little weak and shakey but okay. No more awful cravings. I dont feel like I"m gonna fall off the wagon any second. I have the turkey cooking ( and boy does it smell good ) my hubby and son are watching football and it feels peacefull here today. Turns out the beer hubby usually drinks while watching football does not make him loud and obnoxious. Apparently he's just a big loud obnoxious guy to start with!! Last night I was thinking about ways to hurt myself so I COULD go to the ER for pills. Today, dumbass me, I splashed some boiling water from the giblets on my arm. Its blistered up and everything. It looks pretty bad. I could go get something for it but I choose not to. I also have bad discs in my back so anytime I really wanted to I could get pills. Today I choose not to and it makes me feel stronger. Goddess willing, I will make it thrut the day sober!
