Just checkin' to see if anyone's around...I have a terrible cold today, earlier in the week I was feeling lousy too! But the good news is I just don't drink or use no matter what! Hope everyone's Saturday is going well.

Just got home from work (its going well these days). Am going down to my mom's for a few days to hang out at the beach and relax (I've got the next 2 days off-Yea!!)
Its a cool little beach town with some really good meetings. Lots of old grizzled bikers who don't B.S.
It is always a trip going to those-keeps it real and me humble!!

Do you HAVE seasons in SoCal? I know a bit south of me they don't really but up here in N. Fl. we do.
I find I get better more quickly now that I don't put all that crap in my system. I used to use getting sick as SUCH an excuse to make hot toddys and take pills. Thank God - No more!!

Hey there, I'm so glad to hear from you...you are such an inspiration to me! I'm also happy to hear that you have a couple of days off and we'll be able to visit family and hopefully relax. I love to go to out of town meetings and enjoy being the visitor! I don't recall being this sick in the last couple of years....but yes, for me it use to be a bindle of coke to clear the sinuses and hot toddies with only brandy of course to get through the cold...most likely those ill fated remedies only prolonged my illnesses. I also am peri-menopausal and started taking some medication last year that was working well for me (hormonal stuff) and then my insurance wouldn't pay for it any longer, so they switched to a generic brand and on top of this cold, I'm itchy, wheezy and thinkin' I'm having some sort of reaction going on here...I called my Doctor about it and I'm going to get back on the other stuff.
