No there was no double standard, he was rude and disgusting.....
It was that simple.....It was taken to a level where it became almost like womanizing, and very demoralizing......
And it is under futher review, doesn't sound like he will be gone long.......

Last time I checked I had a right to vent.... If your working recovery, I find it very strange that you spend SO much time on this board, and love jumping on people when they don't agree with you.... I think you love it. This is why alot of people leave this board, or get afraid to say anything..... because they will get pounced on by YOU. Stick to recovery...................

We got it all snow, sleet, freezing rain......
The car was a big icecube, so was the house, and the trees.
Was really neat looking. When the wind blew the trees crackled.....
It is now bright and sunny, waiting on princess to finish eating so we can go play for alittle in it......

Forgive me for popping in here,as I don't know many of you yet.
It went way beyond 'name-calling' And it had escalated.I commend the mods for seeing this.And the crazymaking behavior for what it is.And I didn't see anyone else who went to the degree he did.
Many of we recovering people come here with shattered self image and shattered self esteem.
What is the point in degrading someone if not to intentionally hurt them?To be called 'pond scum'bmb,stuff about one's mother....female body parts..and on and on.
That needed to be checked.Yeah,words can heal,but words can rip you apart too.
If somebody doesn't think this is too bad,then they seriously need to do some research on verbal abuse,as they obviously don't understand it and it's implications .

Yes, I agree with all of the above and he had the audacity to tell me to go and take a pill.... That was great news to hear from another addict telling me, an addict to take a pill when I am working so hard to NOT take a pill.....this was not the right place to tell an addict early on in recovery to take a pill...
Like I said, I didn't see what was said and it sounds like it went way beyond what the norm has been lately. And no, it isn't right. But was it provoked because of previous feelings? Probably. Does that make it right? Of course not. Did it go both ways? You bet it did.

Ladies, I hate to be the one to say it, but we are doing just what Jeff would want us to be doing...What if he is sitting at another computer with another IP addy watching all of this mess right now? Think about it. He could be doing just that and LHAO at all of us fools...
