Hi. I am a vicodin user. I am into 24 hours of detox. The withdrawals are bad. This is my second go around. Two months ago I started using again after being clean for six weeks. Now that I'm detoxing I am so upset with myself as last time I swore I would never use agian and put myself though this. there were alot of people on this board that were good to me last time helping me get through the detox period which took about 10 days. I feel bad coming back hear again. I need some sight for anyone willing...thanks.
Stay strong, I am on day 13, can't believe how hard it has been and I can't believe how happy I am that I did it.

I just read on someone else's thead that they are only on 24 hours of detoxing and they got something called Valerian Root and took 2 of those and 2 Benadryl, and it helped them with the stomach pain and they got 5 and a half hours of sleep. You might try that and see how it works for you. They also said it was one of the cheapest things you can get. I guess you can get it at a drug store or at like wal-mart. Know why you self medicate?
I would recommend that once you get this one over with, that you get some therapy o some form or another...or 12 step meetings etc...to do the ground work and find out why you feel bad enough to self medicate...
Valerian root is what they make valium from...it works for anxiety more then sleep...

wrbaltd, hi I am new here and is vicoden the same as norco'? I am taking norco 7.5 and soma. I cannot stop but I hate this new feeling of tired that it is now causing. I take 2 norco and 1 soma 4 times a day and I always felt great. No pain, a sence of well being as so now just in the last 2 weeks after 3 years of the exact same dose I am so tired I cannot function well. Something new is happening with me in these pills and I just dont understand it. Can anyone explain. I have never once changed the dose in 3 years. but now it is like someone switched out the pills . That is not possible and the doc gave me these so it is all from the pharmacy. wow this is why I am new here. Is this new feeling the way this happends?
