Hi Rach,
I wanted to tell you how much your post meant to me the other day on the goos morning thread. I wasn't able to respond til today, so please forgive my tardiness.
It was so thoughful of you to tell me your story, I really can't hear enough success stories from real people who have gone through this. You know what NICU is, and sometimes trying to relate it to other people is just not possible. You can't understand until you've been there.
I'm so happy to hear your little tank is growing up strong. I know Warrior Jack will do the same, its the waiting part for him to pick up on his life and grow into a healthy strong baby that is the hardest. I am learning patience, Jack is teaching me.
Again, thank you Rach, you should post more often.
xx

Hi Redd/Amy, (I almost missed this!)
I am so relieved to hear that from you! I really did not want to intrude.
Many of your posts have just brought back allot of bittersweet memories and feelings. I do understand and can sooo relate.
Have you met any other parents in the NICU? We met another couple in the next station over (whose babe was going thru ALLOT more than ours) and he too, is now a big healthy bruiser! We still swap pictures of our boys every Christmas.
I'm so happy to hear Jack (love the name BTW!) is doing really well and getting stronger everyday. He'll be home soon.
I hope you're feeling better Mom.
Hugs,
Rach.
