Brits Are Ya Ready For Some Football?

Here's your chance..........to see our odd shaped ball and linebackers.........catch a quarterback.............although I got nothing good to say about these two teams.............playing today on your side of the pond.

No, but the cheerleaders are always worth watching lol....
Whenever I see American footballers I think "Pussies". What's with all that padding and helmets? Our rugby players just run off the broken bones, nip off the pitch for 5 mins to get the gaping wounds sewn up and get straight back on that pitch with nothing but a gun shield for protection. Now they're REAL men! Ahh, I still get fantasies of Gavin Henson getting bored of religion...

Diff I always enjoy and respect rugby players. They are very tough. But you cant compare the games.

Totally different type of hitting. The NFL iss a much faster game. And these guys are so big and strong. Trust me they are tough the NFL.

Jeff
Kev, ya saw me on TV then.

I'm a Dallas Cowgirl, honey.

I only shake my pom-poms for davey though.

Oh, ummm Diff I wasn't asking for no shaking down of the football hero's. LOL
I know nada about British footie, but I do know Rinaldo is cute. I also know I like my Everton jacket and my Manchester United jacket and baseball cap.

I got no allegiance cause maybe if I had some cable TV I could watch.

Rugby? How's about girls field hockey? My stick will beat your stick any old day.
Hmm, I wouldn't mind enjoying a few rugby players... And go on then, the NFL boys could join in, if they begged a bit... On your knees boy, where you belong... and whilst you're down there...

LOL

..Without being disrespectful to one of your naional sports i think American Football is one of the most borinest games i've ever watched..to much stopping for wotever in the game..first down and ten n so on ?? dunno wot that means..theres about 50 players on the sidelines ??..and they can't gouge the opponents eyes out cos they wear helmets :)..no entertainment in it for me sorry peeps..rugbys a totally different game..propa mans game with plenty of roughness involved..as i said..no disrespect, tis just the way i see it..Robbie..
Bryn whether yer an Everton fan or Rushden&Diamonds fan i dont care just as longas you shake them poms..poms for yours truely.....say Philly..say what!!!...you know how it goes....my cheerleading beauty......take care.......Davey

when i'm over hearing elder ladies.......... What a night ...

Tim, on the PP board said that you never get the feeling of total high as when you were using.... i think you're wrong there mate...pure adrenalin rush tonight.....
Ice Hockey- Whether played European Style( a bit more strategic) or American style (a bit more violent) is were the tough guys are.

Spit out a few teeth- and keep going until a line change.
Glad you enjoyed Kev. Nice to go out and have a blast. And it's true, there's so much fun to be had minus old mother brown. I'd love to go see 'em in Cardiff, but it's getting a sitter. My boyfriend has argued with his mam, so she won't be having the baby until he gets off his high horse and apologises, and hell may well freeze over before that happens. I really only get to see bands at festivals when I can take the baby with me. She loves it, she had a blast at the Wickerman fest, and she was only 4 months old. She loved it at the TT as well, and she was only 9 weeks then! And yep, the Welsh do know how to party!!!

..Jack..
..I like watching the ice hockey..especially when it kicks off and they pound each other one on one..sounds like i like violence but i don't really..just think it adds abit more entertainment to the game..Robbie..
What about this cage boxing/fighting thing???i know its big in the U.S but its getting poplular over here....they say its a combination of most martial arts and they got rules???but it sounds like gladiators from Rome .
The ice hockey i can have a laugh at coz whatever match you see they always kick off bashing there opponunts heads againts the perspex barrier....and while were at it what about the real bloodsports i.e a load of upper class twats chasing a poor fox with thier dear dogs and them on horseback.....having a jolly good time old chap....someone get me my 12bore so i can shoot the f***ers...they probobly shoot me first....gotta go ..child time.........Davey
The Flyers is all I got now left in this world after the Phillies.

GO FLYERS!

Jack I just know you're an Avalanche fan........LOL...........had to mess with ya.

Kev, I hear ya about that high you said the fellow said we can't ever get........I get a better one from Yoga............and a close one from baseball.

Oh, Davey..........the Everton jacket...........just a fashion statement........it was a gift...........although I keep asking for a Man CITY sweatshirt........I ain't seen it..........but surely my Pom-Poms are close by........I'll show ya how the American girls shake 'em.

Oh too was I like way off on that game being played in England? Dolphins.
Sheeeesh! Maybe it's next weekend.
Bryn, my little girl is a Man City fan, she got the kit and everything. Well, her dad is the fan, she's just been brainwashed!!!
Bryn-
Remember when they called the Flyers the Broad street Bullies??

I am a NY islander fan- not the NY Rangers - not the NJ devils-

I do like the Avalanche though- - lol
Bryn

I can't believe that you have an Everton jacket and a Manchester U cap together you wouldn't last very long around these parts the Reds would go after you cuz of the Everton jacket but then the toffees would have you for daring to wear their jacket with a man u cap give you maybe 30 mins before you're wrestled you to the ground maybe 10 minutes on a saturday afternoon - the man says it's outrageous that there should be some law against it
that cap would be trashed girl.
