Girlfriend, I just tried to call you for the second time since you called here and left your number and I keep getting the answering machine and of course when calling collect, I can't leave a message telling you that it is me...
At 8pm Central Time I have to leave. I'm going to an outside CA Meeting because the other one that I was going to is now off limits to all residents in the treatment center here...Yeah, something went down last week in a meeting and obviously I must have been paying attention during the meeting for once because I have yet to figure out what in the hell happened...Oh well, that is probably a good thing.
Well, don't get mad at me for trying to call you...Pick up your phone damn it...lol...
You know that I love you and thanks so much for calling me. By the way, I have yet to receive your letter but yesterday was a holiday and the mail lady was out sick today. Maybe it'll come tomorrow, I look forward to getting it.
And to let you know, I am doing very well here. Really, I am soaking in every bit of information that I can get and thus far I have been a model resident and believe me when I say that we have severe penatlities for minor infractions here. Seriously, some of the things we get penalized for are very petty but everything that we do is suppose to teach us structure. Hopefully you know exactly what I am talking about. I have NO marks against me to date and I don't want any either because this Sunday my councellor may let me go home on a 14 hour pass...Yippeee...Yes, I am excited but if I get any marks against me this week I'll be up crap creek without a paddle and I will not get to go home on Sunday...So, I'm going to keep being a good girl...

Last night I attended the best meeting that I have ever attended in my life. Earlier today I got a little upset because I could not find anyone to take me back to the same meeting tonight but a lady just came up to me and told me that she had a ride for me so now I'm back on cloud nine. Hopefully I'll get a sponsor within the next few nights. You all were so right...I remember everyone telling me along time ago that if I continued to attend meetings that eventually I would find one that I liked and sure enough, you all were correct once again.

I have just spent a ton of hours reformatting my computer , thank GOD I purchased the extended warranty.
i have lost everything that was on here, that is what I get for not backing up my s***. oh well, was either paying 500 to a grand to extract my data or losing it, i chose the latter.
Funny I have a Compaq with windowsME that husband uses, then I have this one; gateway XP, after 2 yrs this one goes down on me, the windowsME never has.
lesson learned back up back up back up.. i knew all this just never took the time to back up my data.
I will try and call you today. I will leave a number that i can be reached.
oh letter should be there by now.
I can't call from my cell where we live, no towers around. I sent my land line number in the letter. Just make sure you leave the number from which you are calling.
You sound great, like Kathi and others have said, just absorb every thing they teach you, then apply it. I have all the confidence in the world that you will come out 12 steps ahead.
