I am SO over this weather........it is a battle to go out........3 layers of clothes, never mind that lovely oil bill.....I will get out if it's to buy milk garsh darnit!! My dog is sleeping upside down on the sofa...too funny....he has his own couch now,,,,must be nice. Tony cooks him fresh livers, hearts, and gizzards.....Mmmmmmmmmm.....gizzards!! Im kinda sad about them closing that(AWAN)adoption center.Sure another one will replace it & I can still volenteer,but I heard the place comming in allows declawing & myself I think thats cruel so I dont know about volenteering there.

i heard they have a new laser procedure to declaw cats, is that less painful? i have had kitty for 3 yrs now and have had no problems until recently, he is clawing up everything! but i love him so much that i forgive him. jewels

As for Pet Smart,there are 3 cats there now & I hope Patricia finds them good homes by Wedsday.As for volenteering...the mamager at PetSmart has already recommended me to the new place that will be taking that spot so really its up to me.
Yes Ive heard of the laser removal but after doing some reaseach I realized that in the long term its harmful to thier joints & muscles.Its actually being outlawed in CA Ive heard.
To me its cruel,even if you have an inside kitty,if ever by accident it somehow gets outside it has no way to defend itself.
I should find out about the paying position this week.I thought I didnt get the job but after talking with the manager,I realize that last week was just a crazy week & he hasnt even looked at my drug test results.

Goos morning everybody! I thought it was cold this morning, matter of fact, I even turned up the heat on my bed, but it's in the 40's. Must be because I adjusted the temp on the heat to 70.
I'm taking it easy today, yesterday I watched Kenny and actually got my floors vacuumed and picked up the house. I'm feeling pretty good though, I've been taking prednisone for my pain. Poor little man was sick, damn Jana smokes around him and he has asthma. I even had to give him a breathing treatment Saturday night. He stunk like an ashtray when she dropped him off. I hate to say this, but I hope she gets stopped and ticketed for smoking in the car with him.

Janet I can totally get that.Remember when my nephew had to go to the hospital a couple weeks back?Well he's had ashma for years now & my darn sister & BIL still keep smoking in the house!!! I mean sure THEY or any adult makes the choice to trash thier lungs,but our kids.....they depend on us to keep them safe ya know?I mean what gets me with my sister is that she lives in the downstairs apt.It would be so easy just to step outside to smoke.

Lordy Jodigirl we need it.Poor anne is sitting here munching mac & Cheese she has layers & layers on & a robe & shes still freezing.Goodness & here I thought fishing would happen soon...yeah right!!!!
I can't tell you how badly smoking in front of kids pisses me off. Do you realize it is almost rare to find a child who does not have asthma when the parents smoke in fromt of them. I used to smoke so I can speak from expereince not only did I quit for good as soon as I found out I was pregnant but I would not allow anyone to smoke anywhere near them. My parents smoked but would not even think of smoking in her house or in the car. WHy are there no laws to help the babies. I think it should be a crime to smoke anywhere near your children whether it be in a car or house, I mean you are truly abusing them. Sorry if I sound so insane about this but it is a sick epidemic that we are dealing with. Mind you I don't care if you smoke just don't do it around your children for cryin out loud!!!!!
